Available Dispensary Licenses in Missouri?

0

Answer

Currently, Missouri is not accepting applications for new dispensary licenses.  The state will announce the next application time frame at least 6 months prior to the due date and at that time will announce how many licenses are available.

Keep up to date with the Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services (Department that oversees the Missouri Medical Marijuana program)

Why this is important

It's important to know if there is a limit on the number of dispensaries in any state you desire to obtain a dispensary, so you know if there is opportunity for your business to establish itself and thrive.  In Missouri the current limit has been met.  Thankfully the regulation allows regulators to determine if there should be more dispensary licenses made available.

If licenses or certifications are available after a time period for accepting applications has passed, the department will deter- mine when to publish, on its website, a new time period during which it will accept applications and will publish that new time period on its website at least six (6) months prior to the beginning of that time period.
